The Department of Fashion Design & Technology (FDT) at Sonargaon University (SU), established in 2012 under the Faculty of Science and Engineering, is committed to producing competent, innovative, and ethically responsible fashion design professionals. The department offers a four-year B.Sc. program that combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on practical learning through modern laboratories, fieldwork, and industrial training. Guided by experienced faculty and an industry-aligned curriculum, students build expertise in pattern making, garment construction, textile science, and apparel merchandising, while creative design studios and regular fashion showcases sharpen their artistic and technical skills.
