Our flagship undergraduate program builds a strong foundation in core Fashion Design & Technology — combining rigorous theory, modern lab practice, and design projects that prepare graduates for industry, research, and global postgraduate study.

Graduates of the Fashion Design & Technology program have diverse career opportunities across Bangladesh’s growing ready-made garment (RMG) and fashion industry, as well as internationally. They can work as fashion designers, garment technologists, pattern makers, merchandisers, quality controllers, and product developers at apparel manufacturers, buying houses, and design studios.
Typical positions include Fashion Designer, Technical Designer, Fashion Illustrator, Merchandiser, Quality Assurance Officer, Pattern Maker, and Product Development Executive. Opportunities are available at leading RMG factories, buying houses, fashion brands, and export-oriented apparel companies across Bangladesh, as well as international fashion and textile organisations.
Graduates can also pursue higher studies and research in fashion design, apparel merchandising, textile technology, sustainable fashion, and emerging areas such as digital fashion design and smart apparel technologies.
