The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Fashion Design & Technology offers a multidisciplinary curriculum that develops graduates capable of contributing across the entire fashion value chain—from fibre to fashion, design to production, and concept to consumer.

The curriculum is designed to provide a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience. Students develop strong foundations in textile science, fashion history, design principles, clothing materials, sewing technology, dyeing and printing, and apparel manufacturing before progressing into advanced areas such as fashion illustration, draping, pattern engineering, garment construction, apparel production systems, quality assurance, textile testing, knitwear technology, apparel merchandising, sourcing, international trade, fashion marketing, retail management, consumer behaviour, product development, ISO and compliance, sustainable fashion, and fashion forecasting. The integration of computer-aided design (CAD), digital fashion illustration, e-fashion applications, pattern grading, and professional portfolio development ensures graduates are prepared for the increasingly digital and technology-driven fashion industry.
