Kamrul Hassan Bhuiyan

Biography

Kamrul Hassan bhuiyan is a Assistant Professor & Coordinator in the Department of Fashion Design and Technology (FDT) at Sonargaon University (SU), Dhaka, having joined the faculty in October 2014. He earned his M.Sc. in Textile Engineering from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) in 2025 and B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from Primeasia University (PAU) in 2010. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Kamrul serves as the Course Coordinator, a position he has held since January, 2018. He previously served as Exam Coordinator from January, 2016. His research interests focus on Fabric, Fibre, Technical Textile, Sustainable Textile and Composite Materials. Mr. Kamrul has contributed to the field through publications on the behavior of heat settings on the cleaner production of knitted fabrics; Investigation of color yield & color space between different parts of a garments body and Optimized Process & SMV of Five Pockets Denim Trouser for Higher Productivity.
